The movie hotel hotel Rwanda it’s about the war between the Hutus
and tootsies. This life event turned out to be a massacre. The movie had
two tribes in Africa one wanting peace and the other wanting power to go in war
with each other. The Hutus would chop up innocent people just because they weren't
Hutus. This reminds me of the readings on Naimark. Naimark discussed how the Turks
went about and stallins ideas. The movie can be related to the Jews and Germans.
Both had killings from pure hatred. Just because one is born different their
life was pretty much tied down. In the holocaust many Jews were killed and the Jews
didn’t have any weapons to defend them self’s nor help at one time
The Germans hated the Jews because of their lack of blue eyes blonde
hair, just as the Hutus hated the tootsies because of their tribe they were
born into. Both tootsies and Jews received horrible punishment and deaths for
greedy and racial reasoning’s. the movie relates to our readings because it
shows the hatred from opposite beliefs and lives. When there’s racism there
will always be UN fair owner and violence. The Turks experienced it just as the
Tootsies and Jews did.
The
movie is all about genocidal murdering’s and massacres. Hutus going up to every
house and seeing if you were a Hutu or Tutsi and if you weren't a Hutu you
would get killed. They massacred kids and adults, showed no mercy what so ever.
Just as in society now a days the Hutus are like the whites in America “privileged”.
